Maths is an essential subject that encourages the development of reasoning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability among students. The IGCSE Maths subject plays an important role in the development of mathematical knowledge as a key life skill and a strong foundation that gives students the ability to learn and think logically in any field, be it Science, Technology, or Engineering. The IGCSE Maths syllabus emphasizes mathematical concepts, methods, and skills with a sense of numbers, patterns, and relationships.

Once you have entered into the respective Grading Scale, it is prohibited to switch between the grading scales. If you have acquired the A* – G in the scale once the deadline has passed, you cannot switch. If you’ve mistakenly entered into the grading system, you have to leave and re-enter the grading system before any deadline.

The Cambridge IGCSE Math (0580) provides formula sheets at the front of each question paper. Formula sheets are introduced in both the core and extended papers for each series of exams.
